My name is Braxton Thomason, and I am a computer architect at NVIDIA in Austin, TX. My political views are libertarian. I use a lower-case ‘L’ here, because while I am a member of the Libertarian Party, I believe that over-identification with political parties is a serious impediment to rational political discourse (see relevant tagged posts).
About the name: I sometimes (okay, most of the time) feel that achieving any real change in the current American system of politics is an exercise in futility. I considered using that as the name of my blog but decided that it was too negative. I’d prefer to hope for change, and that one day sanity, rationality, and civility will rule.
